Born of the earth 

Yet forged in a fire

As the earth and the moon

Became one for just a while

Two hearts beat as one 

But for just a short time

Pulled apart so abrupt

Destined to pine

Left in the cold

On this desolate land

Only the glow 

Of the Moon I understand

Solace sates my pain

As she comes every night

My heart beats fast

When she comes into sight

Till one day when she

 Disappeared into the sun

Afraid she was gone 

I would have no one 

Then she returned

Soon to my delight

Since that day I look to the sky

And I howl every night 

For my only true Love

On this day Like no other

The day we found each other

Can a day change a life, yes

The day I found, my hopeful wife

On this night with no covers

The night we became true lovers

Into the night on this single day

I found the words I longed to say

....a nightmare

It started with one finger

Aimed at the heart

The root of it all

Whence hate found it’s start

A weed the grows strong

Entwined throughout

Relentless it spreads

Choking all without

Intent on destruction

Two thorns now collide

No concern for the meek

Only hate will abide

Clouds dance in the wind

As calamity begins

A single eye now looks down

For atonement of sins

Beasts run for shelter

As death rules this land

Awake from their sleep

As they brush off the sand

Painted horses walk slowly

On their backs ride the souls

Of the innocent lives

Taken in a war of tolls

As I looked to the sky

My shadow ran from the sun

Only the fire of hate left as

Nightmares have begun

As day fades in the shadows 

And silence sets in

Dreams wake from their slumber

Let the havoc begin

Here birds are silent

Shadows rise from the ground

And break from their tethers

A cacophony with no sound

Faces with no eyes

float from left to right

With cold blank stares

They slowly fade from sight

Calm soon covers like a blanket

A faint figure appears

She looks so familiar

As she begins to near

I see her every night

Yet never knowing her name

Never seeing where she went

Nor from where she came

The birds now singing

The day has begun

Anticipation rules my day

While my shadow and I walk in the sun

Tonight I will ask her

Please tell me your name

Till then I can only dream of her

As I wait for dark to reclaim...

As the birds go silent

And the crickets sing

The moon shines bright

While the willows swing

In a cool summer breeze

The trickle of a brook

Over pebbles worn smooth

Can be heard as you look

As shadows dance in the wind

Asway with the trees

They seem to come near

Then disappear in the leaves

The air became still

Not a sound to be heard

I saw her that night

Found the gift of the word

Ive seen her in my dreams

I know every curve on her face

Every subtle nuance

Draped in satin and lace

Now I have found her

In fate I believe

I searched for true Love

Never could I leave

I asked her name

With a whisper she said

You can call me Love

By whom you were led

Where the words began

Can only appreciate

A fleet of a moment

A glimpse of a thought

They show me a peek

An idea I sought

I may pause for a second

Read over a line

Then the hands resume

With the prose and a rhyme

A writ we have

As they need my warped mind

To put pen to paper

 Within each askew line

Yes my fingers and I

A symbiotic pact

In need of each other

Without we both lack

The sky is bare

A silence never heard

As death rose above

In a plume of the absurd

Over a swatch of land

Each other not welcome

Into the depths of destruction

All will succumb

Let the purveyors reap

The burnt seeds they have sown

And feast on the dust

Of the dead they had known

Into the devastation of this planet

And every Living creature

The extinction of the modern world

Now the reality not a midnight feature

Dramatic this may seem

I mean not to scare

Yet on a precipice we teeter

I hope to inspire you to care

To change it!

I write this only to you

Everyone else, 

well I've talked about her so long

It's only fair you hear this

I've wrote poems by the score

I've sent long prose and much more

I have no longer the need 

To hide my feelings in words and rhyme

Just let me tell you straight out

I have searched for a feeling all 

My life

The feeling of being a part of 

Someone’s life

It took all the years of my life 

to find this feeling

I can say that all the years 

of waiting have been

The best years ever spent

Waiting for you

The hands move faster

As time slips away

In a frantic race

To finish the day

The mirror remembers

Until you look close

And see the years lost

An image of a ghost

Yet nothing has changed

Except wrinkled lines

That person still the same

Though a bit faded by time

Covered in dust does it lay

In the recess of a tomb 

Never to be needed

A relic left to exhume

Not yet in the future

Never again in the past

As the moon looks down

Witness to revolt

Her tears in every storm

Her scream in every bolt

On the edge of the bank

As the tide rushed in

A tsunami of hate

And so it began

It feeds without want

Only a gluttonous desire

Then recedes leaving starved souls

With not even a pyre 

So the seeds of hate

Have been sown once again

A season never seen before

As the conscience of the innocent rise to defend

The tide now has turned

The truth left on the beach

For the world to witness

For which our youth will teach

Planting seeds of love

Yields fields seen afar

Those who sow seeds with fire

Feed on the dust of war

Yes, She looks down every night

On us from above

Her pull on our lives

Guide us forward towards Love

As the truth will always be upheld

By the hand of the honest
